Once upon a time…

Walt Disney created timeless stories that similar to us have continued to evolve with society. 

The thing is as we evolve individually and as a society we begin to see things through a new lens.

A story of a mermaid who ends up with her prince to a little girl becomes the story of a woman who was willing to sell her voice (soul) for love. 

Throughout time the things we watch, read and listen to begin to code our cells and DNA. What happens is we begin to become one with the story and perhaps even see them play out in our own lives.

The truth is, the movies, television shows, music, art and pop culture you are attracted to attracts you for a reason. It is here to show you something.

Perhaps it is something that you are ready & willing to see and with that sometimes we are not ready to see. 

As a little girl I saw the magic in Ariel and Prince Eric being together, it felt triumphant. I was too young to understand that she sold her soul for this life. Alas, these are the stories many of us grew up seeing.
