Apple Waldorf Salad

I love this salad, it is super simple to make takes no more then 10 minutes and unless you have an apple allergy you are sure to love it!

Apple Waldorf Salad

Servings - 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 2 granny smith apples, chopped

  • 2 sweet red apples (fuji and pink lady are my favorites), chopped

  • 4 stalks or celery, thinly sliced

  • 1/3cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries

  • 1 lemon, juice

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • sea salt to taste

Instructions:

In a large bowl add together apples, celery, nuts, and cranberries or cherries. In a small bowl whisk together the lemon juice and olive oil. Season dressing with sea salt and drizzle over salad. Toss and serve.

Now head over to your local market and grab some apples, or keep this recipe in your back pocket until apple picking season (but really who would wait?!).
