One Day Cleantox

With summer in full swing and fall just around the corner, it can be good to give your body a break, even if just for 24 hours. This one-day CleanTox will help you to cool down, rest and restore your digestive system, and get rid of the untimely bloat that often appears during the summer season.

Upon waking

Drink 32 oz of fresh water with lemon to flush the liver and cleanse the colon.

Pre-Breakfast

GREEN ENERGY CLEANTOX

Serving Size – 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 pear or green apple

  • 1 handful of parsley

  • 2 cucumbers

  • 1 head of romaine

  • 8 stalks of celery

  • 2 lemons, juiced

Juice all ingredients. No juicer, no problem, blend ingredients and strain if needed.

This juice is full of potassium and nutrients that will de-bloat the body and jumpstart the cleansing process in a safe and natural way. Parsley is rich in iron and great for energy.

Kidney Nourishing Smoothie

Serving Size – 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk

  • 1⁄2 large cucumber peeled and sliced

  • 1 cup fresh/frozen blueberries

  • 1 Tablespoon flax meal or chia seeds

  • 1 Tablespoon raw, organic honey

  • Ice (optional)

Place ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy.

*Cucumbers are a wonderful kidney cleanser and provide you with bounds of energy.

Spring Mix Salad With Grapefruit Tahini Dressing

SPRING MIX SALAD WITH GRAPEFRUIT TAHINI DRESSING

Serving Size - 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups spring mix

  • ½ cup cucumber, chopped

  • 6 cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ½ large grapefruit, sectioned

  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped

Grapefruit Tahini Dressing

  • ½ grapefruit, juiced

  • 3 tablespoons tahini

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Prepare your dressing. Add your grapefruit juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and pepper to a small bowl. Mix thoroughly and set to the side.

Prepare the salad. Add your spring mix, cucumber, grapefruit pieces, and parsley to a salad bowl. Top with grapefruit tahini dressing. Serve immediately.

Dinner

COOL CREAM OF ZUCCHINI SOUP

Serving Size – 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 zucchini, unpeeled and sliced or chopped

  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 ½ teaspoons miso

  • 1 small clove raw garlic

  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • ½ ripe avocado

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

***Optional: Add 4 oz of your favorite protein (wild fish, turkey, chicken or vegetarian proteins like lentils or mung beans)

Put all ingredients in order in blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Serve as is or chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Before Bed

  • Drink 30 oz of water with lemon. Often, our bodies are dehydrated at night, which can cause wrinkles, moodiness, and bags under the eyes, we all want to wake up feeling and looking refreshed on a Monday.

  • Light a candle and practice some deep breathing to calm your body and prepare for restful sleep.
