Basil Chips
It has been a while, but I promise I am back... while I work on the re-launch of Hint of Greens which will be filled with recipes, health tips, my summer detox program and more I wanted to share some fun, delicious and tasty recipes with you.
While visiting my parents this weekend my dad was nice enough to give me a ton of basil to enjoy, so of course I got to play in the kitchen and after a chat with a friend I created these amazing Basil Chips. Super simple to make and they can be edited to your personal taste preference.
Ingredients:
1 cup (or more)Fresh Basil
extra virgin olive oil spray
sea salt
garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 275. On a foil lined baking sheet lay out the basil leaves so they are flat and not overlapping. Spray evenly with oil and season with salt and garlic powder (or seasonings of your choice).
Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes. Some leaves may cook faster then others so be sure to check them as they cook.
Remove from oven and serve for a delicious healthy treat!
